It all started with a flower.
A beautiful daisy with a little spider perched on top.
It would become the inspiration for my next project.
I already knew I wanted to make a yellow dress. An ode to the heart of summer and a color able to uplift even the most somber of spirits.
Yellow. The color of power- optimism- confidence- worthiness- freedom- and joy.
The center. The sun. The solar plexus.
A small daisy with a yellow center almost lost amidst the summer's tall grasses.
A moment of awe and appreciation preserved in a photograph and later transformed into wearable art.
